As reported earlier in August, we are delighted that the quarterly journal Lighthouse will be featuring a selection of creative and critical responses to art:language:location in Issue 4. As a result we are asking for innovative and experimental writers to visit Cambridge in during the exhibition and respond with words to some aspect(s) of the exhibition. FADE to Gray
Great to see artwork for A:L:L starting to be installed. Artist Harry Gray today installed ‘FADE‘ on the lawn at the Sidgwick Site. The giant stencilled letters will be removed once A:L:L is underway to leave a residual impression in the grass. By coincidence last year’s Text&Context artist Carol Sommer was on site and was soon recruited to the cause! Lady Chatterley Arrives
So today we have taken delivery of our first artworks – Vivian Pedley arrived today from Sussex with Lady Chatterley Bottled, and we have also recently received several sets of Love O.N.O from Alban Low. Thanks to both artists – now a real sense that A:L:L is just around the corner!
