Many congratulations to Kenji Lim, winner of the ALL2015 £1000 award for a significant new work to be displayed on the Anglia Ruskin University campus. Judges Chris Owen (Head of Art at ARU), Malavika Anderson (Cambridge Festival of Ideas), Dr Veronique Chance (MA course leader at ARU) and Robert Good and Rebecca Ilett from ALL were unanimous in awarding Kenji the prize. Kenji will be at ARU every day throughout ALL to reveal the fairy tale at the base of the installation.
Also mentioned in dispatches was Daniel Djamo, winner of £500 award for a work of particular merit. Daniel’s video Territorial Marking has captivated from the start, with a sensitivity, humour and topicality that we wanted to acknowledge.

Finally, the ARU student award of £250 went to Sally Stenton for her installation at St Ives Bridge Chapel. Sally will be there tonight, 21 October from 7.30 for a reception with the Mayor. Do join us and see it for yourself!
Many thanks to all our sponsors for these awards, and above all to our ALL2015 artists – Cambridge has some wonderful work to enjoy.
