Several A:L:L artists have work at this year’s FaB festival in Bath, including Guy Bigland (above), Carl Gent, Milos & Slavica and Robert Good. As always a very buzzy atmosphere with fresh, experimental and enjoyable work on show, including a number of text-based pieces. I particularly liked Aya Kasai’s Document of Authenticity and Tamsin Taylor’s Words from letters by E Quigley written 1939-1945, although the highlight of the Opening Night must surely have been the artist who spent the entire evening taped to the floor. His identity, sadly, I did not record. FaB runs until 8th June, don’t miss!
Elsewhere in dispatches, congratulations to Marc Renshaw, who’s work has been selected to appear in the latest Axis online Curated Selection Exhibition: Possessed, curated by Denise Courcoux.
