Plans for the Weekend…?

DID POSTER[5]Don’t touch the dial, this weekend we some great A:L:L events lined up for your delectation! On Saturday 26th at the Sidgwick Site from 11am-5pm we have our Day of Performances as part of C.U. Festival of Ideas. Headlining our event will be Jonathan Rogerson performing Desert Island Deaths at 2.30pm, but make sure to see Laura Napier‘s Amnesia Painting at 12.30 in the window of the English Faculty Library.

Other artists taking part include Adam Goodge, Alexandra Drysdale, BA Zanditon, Bryan Eccleshall and Rachel Smith, Erica Bohr, Jason Ions and Stephen Stamper. These will be drop-in sessions throughout the day, along with pop-up shop and Oxfam fundraiser, so call in to see what’s happening!

Lizz Brady Installed at Norfolk StreetMeanwhile Sunday 27th is the last day for our Norfolk Street Project Space. It will be with great sadness that we have to vacate on Sunday evening as we have enjoyed our time at this Changing Spaces venue so much. Do catch it before we go! Highlights include Lizz Brady‘s installation Untitled.

PrintOn Monday 28th at Newnham College from 6.30-8pm we attempt to make sense of it all with Prof Peter de Bolla from King’s College drawing together some of the themes and ideas from A:L:L. Artists Laura Napier and Alexandra Drysdale will also talk about their work. This event is free but booking essential via the Festival of Ideas website, so secure your ticket here. It looks like it should be a good few days – enjoy!
