Skype Meals, Ruskin Gallery

The series of performances “Skype Meals” is for me a new attempt to put the practices of everyday life into an artistic context in order to deconstruct them and reveal some of their structural issues, especially because some daily routines tend to mask the cultural determinations that build our world and our relations with each other – routines that we take for granted. And then there is also the question of how to examine these issues on their own terms.

Performance has a wonderful effect in such situations, because it creates answers to questions through the process itself. So let us find out together how these things work by joining me for a meal through Skype.
