Thanks to Emma Crossley at Oxfam we’re very pleased to be working together over the next few weeks and months to raise some money for the Oxfam Education Programme – which provides access to schooling around the world. We’re planning some activities and links to their lovely bookshops in Cambridge and the surrounding area and we have set up a JustGiving page for donations to the cause. So please do take a look and chip in if you can – we’d love to hit our target…

Festival of Ideas 2013
Look out for this lovely blue logo in the coming weeks in the build-up to the annual Festival of Ideas in October. A:L:L will taking part, hosting a pop-up gallery and day of performance as well as an artists’ talk and discussion on Art, Text and Place. Thanks to Malavika and Sophie who have been an invaluable help to us, particularly in arranging access to the Sidgwick Site for us to place some artworks.
Easy as ABC
For all you letterpress junkies out there. Just had some fab pics in from Cambridge Museum of Technology showing their printing presses and print room. Very much looking forward to Jackie Chettur‘s open event at the museum in October as part of A:L:L – more photos and details of Jackie’s event here. With thanks to Pam from Cambridge Museum of Technology. Photo credit: Cambridge Museum of Technology
