If You Go Down to The Orchard Tea Garden Today…

… Bryan Eccleshall and Rachel Smith, members of the Sheffield Guerrilla Writing collective, will be visiting the world famous tearoom in Grantchester today between 12noon-3pm  to perform an experimental reading based on the lyrics ‘Grantchester Meadows’ by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. Expected to last upwards of two hours, you are warmly invited to call in, take tea and watch the reading as it is filmed for art:language:location in October. Click the pdf for further information: Information grantchester meadows. Hope to see you there! With thanks to The Orchard Tea Garden.

Money Money Money

A big thanks to Cambridge City Council who have provided us with some welcome funding for A:L:L. Whilst a lot of what we do is powered by help-in-kind and collaborative partnerships, cash injections are always much appreciated too!

Norfolk Street Project Space

Thanks to Anji at Changing Spaces we will be using the empty shop on Norfolk Street as a project space during A:L:L, where we will have smaller works for sale and where people can meet the artists. There will also be some larger displays: Matthew Wilson will be transforming the shop front into a record store whilst Lizz Brady (below) will be exploiting the claustrophobia of the basement to intensify the rawness of her drawings.
