Final Preparations

Well the inevitable final day of running round sorting out loose ends, but we are very nearly there, as indeed is the Opening of A:L:L! Some more lovely works installed today, and many people working to make it happen. So thanks everyone, it has been a lot of fun, see you tomorrow! Snappy

Christine Kettaneh snaps-to-grid some beautiful Mute Melodies at the Sidgwick Site today. Check out more latest snaps on our PhotoDiary sidebar, including Claire Weetman jetwashing Hopscotched at 7am this morning (before the students arrive, seeing as you asked). Very pleased also to have our photographer-in-residence Josh Murfitt documenting A:L:L with a portfolio of pictures which he will be adding to as the exhibition unfolds. Have a look at his most recent pictures here.

A Mural for Plurabelle

With two days to go till A:L:L launches, it is great to see so many artworks going up around town. Today Jadryk Brown finishes a giant mural on the side of Plurabelle Books in time to be unveiled at our Opening Event this Thursday from 6-9pm. Jadryk has been working in collaboration with Deanna Tyson on Anna Livia Plurabelle. Also today, Mirjam Raen Thomassen from Norway completes Window of Opportunity, Lizz Brady is down from Manchester to install at Norfolk Street, with Markus Soukup and Laura Napier visiting too. Looking forward to it! With many thanks to Homerton Business Centre for permission to…
