Now Showing!

As part of our extended ALL Satellites programme this year, we are very pleased to be supporting Oxford student Holly Muir. Holly is showing her series of woodcuts Milk on Wood, based on the work of Dylan Thomas, at the Oxford University Press, OX2 6DP from now until 25 October. You can find full details and more pics on Holly’s web page. Call in if you can, and check out Holly’s 30-second video trailer below.

Friday Night Video

For your Friday night viewing take a look at Nicola Dale‘s video taster. Very much looking forward to seeing Black Cloud in due course, and particular thanks to Nicola for making two trips down from Manchester to scout for locations after our first choice (appropriately) hit a technical problem. But I think it was definitely second time lucky – I reckon we’ve now managed to find a space with just the right combination of evocative and sculptural qualities, with a hint of claustrophobia thrown in for good measure. See for yourself at Anglia Ruskin University this October.

One Month To Go!

A sudden realisation today that we open in one month’s time! A combination of huge excitement and mild terror as we put the finishing touches to implementation plans and send our lovely ALL posters, bookmarks and Guide to the printers – we’ll let you know as soon as they hit the streets. In the meantime, some of our artists have shared tasters of their work in video form. We’ll be featuring them all in one way or another in the coming weeks, but to whet your appetite, find them now in our artists’ pages. Above: Madeleine Walsh O R C H E S T R…
