Come and get your hands dirty making this collaborative hand-drawn charcoal animation.
Participate in cycles of creation and destruction as the drawing evolves. With Michelle Fava and other artists, Erica Bohr, Simon Crowe, Diana Scarborough, Angela Brew and Robert Good, in association with Cambridge Festival of Ideas, Thinking Through Drawing and The Big Draw.
How do we collaborate? How does our conversation influence the direction of our collective work and vice versa? You will be given a role in the developing drawing, and your actions and words will affect the direction the animation takes for who comes later.
The animation-in-progress will be shown on campus during the day, and the finished work will be shown online with credits to all those who took part.
We will make the animation on the 29th October at Anglia Ruskin University (room to be announced.)
We invite you to participate for 15 to 30 minutes. You can drop in at any time between 11am and 6pm. The event is free, but please book in advance through eventbrite to avoid disappointment if we are fully booked.
